We love sharing our historic house with you!

While the public is welcome to visit our historic MacFarland-Hubbard House any weekday of the year, the Council traditionally holds two annual open house events with refreshments and special programming.

Our West Virginia Day Open House always occurs on June 20 (or the closest Friday, if June 20 falls on a weekend).

Our annual Holiday Open House usually falls on the first Friday of December.

We're at 1310 Kanawha Blvd E, Charleston, WV 25301 (we don't know why Google Maps gets the zip code wrong). You'll find us between Pioneer Credit Union and Charleston Surgical Hospital. Our closest cross street is Morris St.

Parking and Accessibility

We have a small on-site parking lot (14 spaces and 1 handicapped space), and additional space is available nearby. Parking may be accessed from Kanawha Blvd. via our driveway, or from Virginia St. through the Charleston Surgical Hospital lot adjacent to Howard & Howard Dental.
