The lecture "Living Libraries: Using Oral History to Preserve the Past" will be given by Dr. Keith Alexander, associate professor of history at Shepherd University. Dr. Alexander's students conducted the oral history interviews that became the basis for Historic Shepherdstown Museum's "Separate but Equal?" exhibit. The talk is being given as part of Historic Shepherdstown Commission's annual Speaker Series. It is free and open to the public. The lecture will be given in the auditorium of the Byrd Center, which is located in the Scarborough Library on the Shepherd University Campus.
