Teaching About Congress and the Constitution in Critical Moments of U.S. History

The Robert C. Byrd Center for Congressional History and Education in partnership with the National Archives and Shepherd University will offer a series of one-day teacher institutes titled Teaching About Congress and the Constitution in Critical Moments of U.S. History. Participants completing the course will earn 3 professional development credits through Shepherd University. Tuition remission will be provided to the first seventeen registrants at each institute through financial support from the West Virginia Humanities Council. Participants will register in advance with Shepherd University's Department of Continuing Education. Instructions for getting to and parking at each teacher institute will be provided in advance.
