A panel presentation for the public composed of scholars who use oral history in their works well as a SAIL member and Shepherd student who participated as an interviewer and interviewee. Panelists will discuss the important of collecting stories through oral history and share some of the stories that emerged from the project. The event will publicize the availability of digital recordings and transcripts of oral history interviews on transformative live experiences in local libraries. The Byrd Center is adjacent to the Scarborough Library on the campus of Shepherd University. The venue is handicapped accessible.
