As part of Marshall University's celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the 19th Amendment guaranteeing American women the right to vote, Marjorie Spruill, University of South Carolina Professor Emerita of History and author of "DIVIDED WE STAND: The Battle Over Women's Rights and Family Values that Polarized American Politics" and "New Women of the New South," will lecture in the Amicus Curiae Lecture Series on the topics of women's suffrage and women's rights.
