Authors Stephen Schimpff and David Miller will lead a free outdoor “human and natural history” tour featuring stories of Tucker County from their new book, Fortune Seekers in the Promised Land. After meeting at Blackwater Falls State Park lodge, participants will carpool to the trailhead, and then walk to the famous Lindy Point lookout, the site of 1910 logging. A tour of the railroad grade in Davis will follow.
