Commemoration of the final portion of the 1767 Mason-Dixon Survey delineating the north-south boundaries between Pennsylvania and Maryland/western Virginia. Several parties of American Indians representing four nations visited the surveyors. Living history interpreters will portray those parties as well as survey workers. Political interests and maneuvers will be discussed, while skills necessary for long-distance travel and every day living will be demonstrated. The event is located near Core, WV in Monongalia Co., south of Mount Morris, PA.
