This event will focus on the issues surrounding the interpretation of slavery at historic sites and museums. Six panelists with knowledge in relevant fields will present at the symposium and roundtable discussion. The program will be free and open to the public with special invitations sent to history, public history and cultural resource management students at local colleges, along with local museum professionals.
