The Aurora Project's mini film festival will show two films focusing on twentieth century art and art history. The first film, titled "Paris 1928" considers the expatriate artists from the United States who lived and worked in Paris during the 1920s. The second film, titled "New York 1951," showcases how art was affected by the rise of film and television. There will be a brief intermission between films, and a discussion, moderated by Peter Wentzel, will follow the second film. This event will be free and open to the public.
