A panel presentation for the public composed of scholars who use oral history in their work and a SAIL member and Shepherd student who participated as an interviewer and interviewee. Panelists will discuss the importance of collecting stories through oral history and share some of the stories that emerged from the project. The event will publicize the availability of digital recordings and transcripts of oral history interviews on transformative live experiences in local libraries. The panel presentation will be held in the Martinsburg Room on the ground floor of the Martinsburg Public Library. The location is handicapped accessible and adjacent parking is free on Saturdays.
