A new chapter in Kanawha Valley history opens in March with this unique exhibit covering the impact and influence of the Union Carbide Corporation. From kids' camps to war-winning chemical products during World War II; from the industrialization of Blaine Island to the horrific tragedy at Hawks Nest Tunnel, the "Chemical Valley" exhibit explores Carbide's century-long footprint on the Charleston area, and how its presence is felt to this day.
