This event is an updated report to the public on archaeological discoveries from the 2019 summer dig at Ashby's Fort, ordered built by George Washington in 1755 as part of the frontier defense during the French and Indian War. The report will include a display and interpretation of artifacts unearthed in the dig. The event is located 400 yards east of the traffic light at the intersection of Rte 28 and Rte 46, across the road from the Fort Ashby Primary School.
