As part of the Amicus Curiae Lecture Series on Constitutional Democracy, Dr. Peter Hanson, author of the book "Too Weak to Govern: Majority Party Power in the U.S. Senate," and Political Science professor at Grinnell College, will lecture on the merits of the U.S. Senate , considering the question whether we would still have a Senate if the Constitution were being written today. He is a national media commentator on this topic.
