Following the final performance of Storming Heaven: The Musical, Denise Giardina will lead a discussion and answer questions about her novel, Storming Heaven, upon which the musical is based. The novel and musical chronicle the lead up to the Battle of Blair Mountain through the eyes of five family members of a mining community in southern West Virginia at the beginning of the 20th century.
