Join former Harpers Ferry NHP archaeologist Dr. Paul Shackel for a talk about how archaeological explorations challenge us to think about the changing and competing relationships between nature and the machine in nineteenth-century Harpers Ferry. This talk is part of the 2019 monthly speaker series commemorating the 75th Anniversary of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Parking is available at the Mather Training Center or across the street at the Curtis Freewill Baptist Church. Handicap accessible via parking lot entry door.
