Friends of Blackwater is hosting a volunteer day to improve the visibility and accessibility of historic sites in the Blackwater Canyon. Volunteers will be clearing brush, locating foundations, and preparing these unique historic resources for interpretation. Friends of Blackwater staff, local history buffs, and Forest Service employees will be on hand to provide information about area history and assist volunteers.
