The goal of exhibiting these 30 New Deal photographs of the Tygart Valley Homestead in Randolph County is to educate the public about the early years of this resettlement community and the impact of New Deal programs in rural West virginia through the eyes of four professional photographers who visited it as part of the New Deal Farm Security Administration project.
