The 2017 exhibit at the West Virginia Railroad Museum will cover the history of the state's logging railroads and the lumber boom they fueled from approximately 1880-1920. The exhibit will be on display from April 2017 to October 2017 and will be open to all members of the public. Special Instructions: The museum is located in downtown Elkins a short walk from the depot welcome center. Visitors can park at the building or walk down the paved path from the depot. Building is handicap accessible.
