The Amicus Curiae Lecture Series on Constitutional Democracy presents noted scholars to speak to various issues of historical and contemporary significance related to our Constitution and the values it embodies. Lecturer James C. Cobb will present "From Truman to Trump: The South and the America Since World War II." Dr. Cobb is the Spalding Distinguished Professor of History Emeritus at the University of Georgia. He is the former president of the Southern Historical Association and has written extensively on the interaction between the economy, society and culture in the American South.
