Vintage on the Lawn Fair celebrates mountain families, flowers and foods at the historic home of our New Deal Era Governor Kump in Elkins, WV. The Community Garden, Heritage Apple Orchard, and Welland Walkways offer learning opportunities for children and adults. Botanical scholar Marcia Mitchell will exhibit her WV flower paintings and speak at 2:00 P.M. on the unique possibilities for horticulture in our mountain micro-climate. Children will play Corn Hole Toss, Croquet, Marbles, and a new lawn game called "Murbles". Visitors will enjoy music on the lawn, puppets under the sycamore trees, summer sandwiches in our picnic area, and a shopping adventure under the tents among the apple trees. An old fashioned pie auction will include garden and lawn paraphernalia.
